  4. Opiates

Part II. Dr Arash Vaziri, Consultant Hepatologist, will talk about

  1. Thresholds for referring people who drink alcohol to secondary care to investigate liver disease

  2. The hepatologist's perspective about the challenges of managing a patient with persistent alcohol use despite advanced chronic liver disease - diuretics and monitoring, paracentesis short and long term, TIPSS, and palliative care referral thresholdsAlcohol-Related Liver Disease
